The 167 Hours
The 167 Hours
Grief Hacking: Part 1
The Gap Between Sessions
Traditional therapy gives you one hour a week with a counselor. The other 167 hours are where the real processing happens, or doesn't.
Most people white-knuckle through, distract, or spiral.
An AI Thinking Partner
I found a way to do real work in that gap, with an AI thinking partner available at 2am when something surfaces.
This isn't anti-therapy. The counselor holds the frame. The in-between is where you metabolize.
More Work, Not Less
I didn't skip the work. I did more of it per week.
Six days and 23 hours of actual processing instead of dead air. That's not a hack in the gimmicky sense. It's a throughput change.
Dealing with It
What I was dealing with was painful and destabilizing. I didn't completely spiral.
Some days I figured it out. Some days I didn't figure anything out. But I kept moving.
What Worked
This series will share what worked:
The AI dialogues
The long walks
The mountain hikes
The rocks I collected and built into a mosaic to honor my new identity
Start Here
This is where we begin the journey together. The 167 hours don't have to be empty space.
